The Barking & Dagenham based Leftley Sports Club have announced the launch of women only fitness classes.
Weekly sessions will take place at the Hedgecock Community Centre at Stephen Jewers Gardens and will include aerobics with a fully qualified instructor, nutritional advice, health progress, blood pressure and BMI checks.
The first two sessions are free and thereafter a cost of £2 will apply.
Dr Noor Jahan from Leftley Sports Club commented, “this is a really great initiative for local women. Everyone is welcome to attend, meet new people and grow together as a community.”
LSC Chairman Muhammed Ali added, “The women’s fitness club is designed to engage our community members who prefer a women only environment where they can feel more relaxed.
“Leftley Sports Club is dedicated to serving the whole community and we will always bear the needs of our members when organising activities.”
